Spotify is a world leading music services that offer digital music. Spotify started as a program to computers but have in recentyears also come to portable formats.
The program works as simple as that you are looking for a band, artist or song, and you will get a list of songs based on what yousearched for. You can then narrow your search to a specific album by clicking on an album name. Click on the song you willhear and it plays.
Do you find music you love in an easier way then you can also create play lists and give them a name you choose.
There are some artists that are not in Spotify, but you will find most of what you are applying for.
In the app to iOS it's easiest to download the playlist to the mobile device. This means that you create a playlist in Spotify on a computer and then download it onto the device so that songs can be played regardless if you have web access or not. This feature called "Offline mode". If you have not managed to create a playlist for "offline mode" so you can also just search for artistsor songs but when you depend on web access.
In spotify for computers so you can have a free version where you have some limitations because it is free. This free version willnot work on a portable device. If you have Spotify on your portable device, you must upgrade to the Premium version. This costs£ 99 a month. This is a very small sum to pay to listen to as much music as you want. Suppose you were to buy an album, eitherdigitally or on CD, this will cost somewhere between 100 and 200 € for just one album. In Spotify you can pick and choose for £99, and best of all is that it is legal.

The green line you see in the playlist in screenshot one shows that you have added the songs in your playlist and it works to post it so that youcan use it in "offline mode". At the top it says "syncing", it shows how many new songs that sync with your portable device.
One thing you should watch out for is to sync the songs when you have access to WiFi, otherwise it can become expensive ifyou use 3G or Edge with respect to the number of MB it uses to sync into.
Would recommend anyone to try out Spotify for iOS. You save a lot of time to have all music in one place, and you do not need toadd songs manually through iTunes, which also takes a good deal of time.
